What is JLPT?

JLPT is the official testing standard for assessing the Japanese language skills of non-native speakers. The JLPT test assesses one's ability to read, write and understand spoken Japanese. It's a great qualification for anyone's CV and the perfect way of keeping track of students' progress in the language.

How Many JLPT Levels are there?

The JLPT exam is split into 5 distinct difficulty levels, N5 being the easiest and N1 being the most difficult. Each level requires students to learn and understand certain vocabulary and grammar and be able to use it in every day situations. To get more detail on the requirements for each JLPT level, where to book the exam and how best to study for JLPT N5, check out the helpful article below

How Can I Improve my JLPT Level?

Improving your JLPT level is an important goal for most Japanese language students. The best way to improve is by studying with a qualified teacher and immersing yourself in the language as much as possible.

However, you will also need to revise in your own time and may wish to sit past papers or read about how other people have studied for the test. To help you do this we've built a resource hub dedicated specifically to all things JLPT. Explore below!
